(from Cioccolato+Torino) is the event that celebrates the centennial history of the artisanal chocolate in the city of Turin (Torino) from the 2nd to the 11th of MARCH 2012.
This is the ninth edition, inviting you not to miss the appointment to live something unique and that will let you finally really know the "food of the Gods
Moreover, it will disclose the more and less known facts about the history of chocolate in the City of Turin
, which boasts an ancient chocolate tradition and some of the most delicious inventions (like the gianduia
Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Turin will again be the location to host the many initiatives from Cioccolatò, like meeting with the experts, the tastings, the cultural and entertainment appointments, the fun-learning sessions for kids and adults alike, linked to both the made in Italy
and the international chocolate.
Restaurants, bars and shops in the city center will be involved in the kermesse and will be especially animated with chocolate-themed activities.
Among the events in this 2012 edition, there will be many specials dedicated to the "women of chocolate
" during March the 8th.
Organized by the "Gruppo Apice", Cioccolatò
is patronized by the territory Institutions and by the main local category Associations, as well as by the prestigious "Academy of Chocolate" from London.
