If you are wondering what to see in Italy and in particular you are looking for something to do in Rimini in this period? Well, this is the article you were looking for. In fact, I would like to present an event that will take place from November 7th to 10th , or the 21st edition of theEcomondo a Rimini Ecomondo festival in Rimini. In this article I explain where the event takes place and how to reach it. I also provide you with useful information for buying tickets and to organize your visit …
It is one of the main trade fair events in Mediterranean Europe that deals with green and circular economy. Specifically, this is a format that combines all the different sectors of circular economy into one platform.
The fair addresses these thematic areas:
- waste and resources
- biobased industry
- reclamation and major risks
First of all, this is a parallel event in the tenth edition that has the theme of energy saving. Italy is at the forefront in Europe in these areas in particular regarding energy efficiency, waste recycling and resource productivity. That is why it is one of the reference events of the international scene.
The entry ticket to the exhibition area can be purchased online or directly at the entrance. The first cost is € 12 for the reduced ticket valid for November 7th and € 18 for the full ticket valid for one of the other days. At the entrance the tickets are 15 € for the first day and 25 € for all others. There is also a ticket for two days at € 28.
Where is it held
Consider this: the exhibition space where Ecomondo fair in Rimini is held is one of the country’s most advanced and has an eco-friendly soul as it is built with a low environmental impact. It has green areas extending over 160,000 square meters with more than 1,500 plants and 30,000 square meters of lawns. Moreover, all the facilities are of low environmental impact and exploit renewable energies. Here you will find an answer to what to do in Rimini and what to see in Italy.
The space was designed by the GMP Studio in Hamburg and occupies a total area of 460000 square meters. The exhibition area consists of sixteen air conditioned one storey pavilions, which can be darkened. There are also reception areas, meeting rooms, a business center, a press room, restaurants, a parking lot with 110000 parking spaces and an helipad with helitaxi service upon reservation. It can easily be reached by car from the main Italian cities via the A14 Bologna-Bari-Taranto motorway. The city rail station is on the Milan-Bari line. As for accommodation I recommend staying in a hotel in the center, from which you can easily reach the event thanks to public transport. I recommend Hotel Terminal Palace & Spa at a cost of 60 €. Or you can also book your bed and breakfast in Casa Mancini. Here the cost is about 70 €.
