Italian Festivals
Italian festivals have become, more and more with the time passing by, a great way to explore and discover Italy and its traditions. Whether tracing back to some ancient custom like the "Palio di Siena", celebrating some memorable historical event like the "Redentore" in Venice or being a more recent promotion event of some genuine and typical local products like the "Sagra della Patata Leonessana" in Leonessa, you can rest assured that there is always something to do, to see, to taste and to learn in the innumerable festivals and events taking place throughout Italy. This section is dedicated to such events and, with contributions from "on site" fellow-passionates, it will keep growing incorporating knowledge and live experiences from those that have been there and can tell where to go, what to do, to see, what to taste and, in short, why you too should go have a taste of these events throughout Italy. Read below the great stories from these visitors and don't forget to give YOUR contribution as well by sharing your story here below!
