The city Museum
The City Museum was built between 1746 and 1755 as a college of Jesuits by architect Alfonso Torregiani. It is adjacent to the church that the order built between 1719 and 1740 in honor of Saint Francis Saverio. The structure was heavily damaged by the bombings that took place during World War II. The restoration that was carried out by the architect Pier Luigi Foschi has allowed the recovery of these spaces today used as exhibition rooms.

Opening hours at the exhibition venue are from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 1.00pm and from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Sundays and public holidays are from 10am to 7pm. Monday is closed. The full ticket costs 7 €. There is a reduced entrance fee of 5 € for adults over 65, young people up to 29 years, groups of at least 12 people. How to get there and where to stay
Did you know Rimini is easily reached by car from most of the cities on the peninsula thanks to the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway. The city airport is Federico Fellini. From here you can reach the railway station by bus number 9 or alternatively with a taxi available at the exit. Rimini is on the Ancona-Bologna railway line and is therefore easily reached by train. The museum is a 15-minute walk from the station.
