Particular attention to the world of food and raw materials is a growing trend also in Italy. Among other things this can be seen also by the birth of Fruit & Veg Innovation, an event held at the Verona Fair, which renews its appointment from 31 January to 3 February. In this edition – in along with Fieragricola – the main topics are fruit and vegetables and olive oil. Ready to know more? Keep reading and I’ll tell you everything about this important event.
Special consideration for the world of food
The event, the result of a joint venture between Fiera Milano and Veronafiere, reaches its second edition, and is an initiative of sure appeal to those in the sector who want to know what to do in Verona. It is presented to the public as a specialized showcase on horticulture, fruit-growing and olive-growing supply chains.
Fruit & Veg Innovation is organized into four thematic areas:
- nursery activities
- land treatment
- harvesting and
- preparation of the product and services.
And it’s not over here: there are so many other things worth taking into consideration at the event. Another important focus of the Fair is in fact technological innovation at the service of the increasingly important biological sector, which has over 1.8 million hectares of cultivated land and about 73 thousand operators, representing a key segment of Made in Italy. Healthy eating is already tempting for many, so why not opt for solutions that put people’s well-being and the protection of the planet first?
This year Fruit & Veg Innovation will also focus on new areas that will offer the most important innovations in the field of fruit and vegetables and organic, but also aspects such as e-commerce, with a dense program of information and insights. The Focus on olive growing will be a showcase dedicated to equipment related to the cultivation of the olive tree, within a national program to increase the production of extra-virgin olive oil (from 300 thousand tons to at least 600 thousand tons).
In this context, the most relevant news to improve the management of the olive grove will be presented, with updates and indications regarding pruning, harvesting, treatment, irrigation and services for farms. After all it is an Italian pride and one of the most used condiments on our tables.
And other appointments
The event does not stop in January! Fruit & Veg Innovation will also be open from 7 to 13 May at Milan Food City, where it will contribute directly to the focus of interest of final consumers on the production and nutrients offered by the fruit and vegetable sector. The appointment with the third edition, however, is fixed from 6 to 9 May 2019.
If these themes are dear to you and you think that Fruit & Veg Innovation is right for you, why not take a look? It will be an opportunity to deepen what you already know on the subject, especially if you have a business and you want to keep up with the times. A real opportunity to increase your skills for pure personal interest or to increase your profits, absolutely not to be missed!
