Do you want to take part in the “Artigiani del gusto” event – National Trade Show and are looking for more...
Samumetal and Samuplast are two highly anticipated events now, respectively, at the 19th and the 13th edition. These are exhibition fairs that concern the world of technologies for metalworking and plastic production materials. Fairs that are, obviously open only to experts in the sector and that can be visited free, upon online registration to avoid the risks of overcrowding.
The exhibitions will be held in the exhibition areas of Pordenone between the first and third days of February 2018. Samumetal will deal with issues such as cutting and deformation of sheet metal, robotic automation, machining, tools and logistics. And Samuplast will do the same, but the pavilions will focus on the world of plastic materials and their industrial processing.
Technology and tool show
Samumetal and Samuplast are, respectively, the exhibition of technologies and tools for metalworking and the exhibition of technologies and machines for the plastics industry. The two exhibitions are held every year in the same period and in the same exhibition spaces as they will affect two sectors which are so different, but also complementary and that, very often, travel in parallel. Two halls for the excellence of Made in Italy and Italian technologies that, however, will host many other countries of Europe and the world.
Samumetal e Samuplast: fair structure
Samumetal is now in its nineteenth edition, while Samuplast, which was designed in more recent times, has been by its side for 13 years. Both exhibitions will be held in the exhibition areas of Pordenone Fiere, which include 9 pavilions within a total 100,000 square meters between indoor and outdoor space. More than 30,000 visitors are expected each year. The synergy between the two events opens up an endless network of possibilities for experts in the sector, for the development of new commercial networks and new collaborations.

What to do in Pordenone after Samuplast e Samumetal?
If you have decided to visit Samumetal and Samuplast, and are wondering what to do in Pordenone, besides participating in one or both of the events, and you want to visit the city or its surroundings, here are some useful tips. The areas with most attractions are those of the “old city”, which time and the massive flooding caused by the Vajont dam disaster have left almost untouched and are full of interesting ideas.
Consider this: tourists are mainly interested in the streets of the city center, with the busy Corso Vittorio Emanuele, full of shops, exclusive boutiques and dining options. Corso Vittorio Emanuele is also frequented for another reason, the arcades.
Apart from being a particularly beautiful architectural work of art, in fact, the arcades are very useful in winter and rainy days, to enjoy outdoor aperitifs and long walks without being affected by rainy weather, which in Pordenone is more than frequent, given its proximity to the Carnic Prealps.
